| A local organisation that offers a “Helping Hand” in various ways to those in need.
It runs a very popular Lunch Club that gives our older residents the chance to get together on a monthly basis for an excellent meal and companionship in the comfort of the new Church Rooms.
This is much appreciated, and has been described as “something to look forward to all month”.
It provides advice on where to get specialist assistance on a range of subjects including Counselling, Health and Welfare matters etc.
The volunteers help in practical ways too, such as shopping, transport to hospital or surgery, emergency meals, filling in forms and in many other ways.
Don’t be shy to ask for help when it is needed.
This confidential, impartial and free help [except for a contribution for transport] can be yours if you ring Alan Hobson 01962 884567 at Neighbourcare or Colin Bonsey 01962 882221.
The Worthys Neighbourcare also welcomes offers of help - particularly car drivers. If you can help in any way please call us on the above numbers. |
