| The Red Cross is able to provide a number of services, including short term care and support in people’s homes after an accident or illness, short term loan of medical equipment such as wheelchairs etc and door to door transport for those who cannot get about easily for essential journeys.
A new service called ‘Can You Dig It’ is now also available to provide temporary loan of specially adapted small garden tools to try before buying. Call the co-ordinator Ray Knight at Red Cross HQ Winnall on 01962 891669 for more details.
