Age Concern and Help The Aged have now combined to create a new national organisation called Age UK.
It supports and assists a network of over 320 Age Concern and Age UK local organisations which provide support for everyone over age 50 in the UK, ensuring that they get the most out of life.
They aim to improve later life for everyone through providing information and advice, campaigns, products, training and research.
If you need information or advice on anything from health to housing, call Free Helpline 0800 169 6565 (note mobile calls may not be free). It is open 7 days a week 8am – 7pm, 365 days a year.
Alternatively the Age UK website www.ageuk.org.uk provides a wealth of information and advice on a diverse range of topics.
