 The Steering Committee for the Worthys Festival 2011 have now issued the provisional festival programme which is scheduled to start on Saturday 17 September run all week until Sunday 25 September 2011.
All the events will take place throughout the Worthys - Abbots Worthy, Headbourne Worthy and Kings Worthy.
It promises to be a fantastic week of fun, enjoyment and celebration of life in the Worthys. It will involve as many different community groups and organisations as possible, and will include events which will appeal to the whole community, old and young, artistic and musical, sporty and sociable.
The festival will end with a community BBQ and also the organiser’s are hoping to be able to include a closing firework display as well on the final day.
Make a note in your diaries now to be there on at least some of the days shown on provisional festival programme.
