You are sure to have an afternoon of fun at the Kings Worthy Village and Church Fete on:
Bank Holiday Monday 31 May, starting at 1.00 pm.
It will be on the Church Green, next to St Mary’s Church, London Road, Kings Worthy. Entry and parking are free.
The fete will be opened by local resident, Professor Joy Carter, Vice Chancellor of University of Winchester.
There are over 60 stalls from local clubs, societies and organisations, charities plus a number of local businesses. All the traditional stalls - books, food, cakes, plants, ‘bric a brac’, bottles and more will be there.
Learn about local history, the environment, climate, the Boaz project and find out about local clubs and societies.
There is something for everyone, including children’s' fairground rides and a scout challenge to test teenagers.
Punch and Judy, The Kings Worthy Community Choir and a unique fairground organ will provide entertainment throughout the afternoon.
A great opportunity to have a relaxed afternoon and avoid those Bank holiday traffic jams.
Simply have fun; you may even win a prize in the Grand Draw.
All proceeds will go to local charities.
So YOU JUST HAVE to be there!
