The 2010 Kings Worthy Village and Church Fete held on 31 May was a real success for the local community, charities and church.
St Mary’s church alone raised over £6500 from its 27 stalls. Out of this donations were made to the Day Care Centre and The Grove.
In addition a number of the 16 charity and stalls from local organisations also raised valuable funds for their work.
Variety was brought to the fete with stalls from 11 businesses, most with a link to the Worthys.
With around 4000 people attending this traditional Bank Holiday event it proved a winner in involving the local community. All in all, a good time was had by all and the
organising committee would like to sincerely thank all those who
contributed to the highly successful event.
