 In these difficult economic times we all need the inspiration from the arts more than ever to lift our spirits and enrich our lives.
The Winchester Festival will provide choral masterpieces in the Cathedral, talented teenagers in the Great Hall, literary greats at the Guildhall and a big band dance to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
The Annual Winchester Festival promises a diverse feast of more than 30 musical, literary, theatrical and visual arts events in various venues across the city. In addition there will be special festival guided walks around the City.
Throughout the festival the daily programme varies from mid morning to a little later in the evening.
