Kings Worthy Parish Council logoKings Worthy Parish Council are delighted to announce that the Mayor of Winchester, Cllr Dominic Hiscock, has kindly agreed to formally open the new out-door Over 60’s Exercise Equipment adjacent to the Kings Worthy Community Centre, Fraser Road on Friday 4 September 2009 at 11am.

The idea for the specialist exercise area came initially from senior residents in the village and following extensive consultation between them and the Parish Council on the choice of equipment, the project has now been completed.

The equipment is designed to work all areas of the body and improve circulation and balance.

It is thought to be the first such bespoke installation in Hampshire and it has been funded by Winchester City Council from its Open Space Fund.
