Next Work Party:  St Swithun’s Habitat Improvements

When: Sunday 15 November, 1.30-4pm
Where: St Swithun’s Church, Headbourne Worthy.

Meet at the car park opposite the church - grid reference SU 487 319.


Why not go along and help improve our local environment, meet new people and enjoy the fresh air at the same time.


Conservation Volunteers will  be carrying out further improvements and conservation work on the site again this autumn which it has been doing for a couple of years now.

 

This unique habitat is managed for the wildlife and in particular water voles.


Do wear tough footwear and suitable clothing and to bring own refreshments; tools, gloves and hard-hats are supplied. 

 

Please arrive promptly for task briefing and safety talk, and adhere to safety practices at all times. 

 

All are welcome, however if this is your first time, please contact us to confirm details and procedures.
