 Headbourne Worthy Parish Council is delighted to welcome Hilary Graham as its new Parish Clerk following the recent retirement of Sheila Pearcey from the role.
Hilary writes, “Hello I’m Hilary Graham, your new clerk to Headbourne Worthy Parish Council.
I have lived in the Worthys for 23 years, and both my sons, Sion and Jamie, went to school locally. As you probably guessed Sion is a Welsh name as I am a Welsh speaker.
Since retiring from the Civil Service last year I’ve taken courses in plumbing, Interior Design and Italian. My interests are holidays to European cities, cooking, interior design, yoga, Sudoku and walking my Labrador, Tess.
I live at Little Holt, on Wellhouse Lane. John, my husband, is still with the Civil Service in Portsmouth.
I am looking forward to the challenges that this position will bring and being involved with Parish Council matters to benefit the entire village." |
