| The new bench seat in School Lane |
A smart new bench seat has recently installed in School Lane to replace the one which had previously been there, but unfortunately damaged late last year by a mechanical digger.
The new seat looks out across the meadow towards St Swithun’s church.
It provides a welcome respite for residents and indeed walkers along School Lane to relax and enjoy the lovely views at this spot.
In addition another replacement has been made, this time a new public notice board at the Good Life Home & Garden Centre in Springvale Road.
Bob Chisnell the owner of the Garden Centre has kindly agreed for the notice board to be erected in its new position adjacent to the car park area.

This notice board compliments the one installed at the bottom of Nations Hill in the autumn of 2008 in addition to the one already at the top of Bedfield Lane. |
