During May (11th - 15th) for the seventh year Hampshire County Council are again running their highly successful free ‘Silver Surfers’ events designed to help older persons to learn and understand using the internet, computers and digital technology.

There will be over 73 friendly workshops and introductory sessions being held at selected libraries, schools, community centres, colleges and other venues.

A number of these are close to us here in the worthys for more details use this link Local Events.

At each event there will be friendly and helpful assistants there to guide you through the basics of using the internet and to answer your questions. You will receive a useful pack of information sheets that will help you to learn more about using the internet.
