Police are appealing for information after fire in Kings Worthy

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a fire at Woodhams Farm in Kings Worthy near Winchester during the night of Tuesday, October 21.

 

At 8.15pm police were called to the rural farm where a number of outbuildings were alight. There are no other buildings nearby and there is no threat to life.

 

The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are unknown at this stage.

 

DC Elaine Cawkill said: “We are uncertain of the cause at this stage and would like to hear from anyone who might have noticed anything unusual around the farm area during Tuesday evening.

 

“This might include people hanging around behaving suspicious, or cars that are normally not there.”
