As part of Hampshire County Council’s additional £1m boost to its ‘Potholes’ Repair Programme, work on repairing potholes in Church Lane Kings Worthy, is scheduled to commence the last week of November for approximately 4/5days.

The section of Church Lane affected will be from its junction at London Road to its junction with Nations Hill.

Some delays to road users are only expected during the working day whilst Amey, Hampshire County Council’s new highway contractor undertakes the work.

Should a temporary road diversion be deemed necessary in order to undertake the work, then advance warning notices will be displayed approximately two weeks prior to work commencing.

Letters will also be sent by Hampshire County Council to adjacent affected properties, advising them of any such arrangements.

More delays are also likely on Springvale Road and Nations Hill when gas main work commences in January to March 2009.

Once more details are made available these will be placed on this website.
