Headbourne Worthy Parish Council’s Chairperson, Rosemary Stephens attended a meeting in July, as part of the partnership between three parish councils, Headbourne Worthy, Littleton and South Wonston.

The partnership together with Hampshire County Council, Winchester City Council, Environment Agency and others met to discuss the continuing issues at the Moto Cross site at Three Maids Hill.

The meeting was chaired by Fiona Tebbutt Head of Planning Control at Winchester City Council.

Many residents in all three villages have been extremely concerned with the activities held at this location during the last five years following the temporary planning approval granted to the site operator.

During this time all three parish councils have received many complaints from nearby local residents on a range of issues connected with the site.

Headbourne Worthy Parish Council has persistently stressed its grave concerns to Winchester City Council Planning, on the issues raised by its residents on a number of occasions in the past.

The parish council will continue working closely in partnership with the other parish councils involved, together with the planning authority and the other agencies to ensure that all the issues raised are effectively resolved.

It will keep residents aware of progress on this major public concern within the parish.
