Hampshire Constabulary is responsible for policing Headbourne Worthy and Kings Worthy. Both villages are in the Winchester West Sector of Winchester District, which is part of the Hampshire Police, Central Operational Command Unit (Central OCU).
The Northgate Safer Neighbourhoods Team is responsible for policing our community. Our local Community Police Officer for Headbourne Worthy, Kings Worthy and Abbots Worthy is PC Don Hagger, also working with him as part of the Worthys team is PCSO Kerry Croutear, a Police Community Support Officer.
You will see both the officers out and about in the area patrolling both on bikes, walking and in police vehicles.

Beat Surgeries
The Northgate SNT team have regular monthly beat surgeries in both Headbourne Worthy and Kings Worthy. These surgeries are an opportunity for local residents to come and meet their Community Police Officer and PCSO to discuss any problems or concerns they have. They can offer advice on crime prevention and security, anti social behaviour and neighbour problems, motoring issues or any other related concern. All will be dealt with in confidence.

101 Single Non-Emergency Number
From April 2009 the 101 Service (Single Non-Emergency Number) is provided by Hampshire Constabulary. Hampshire and the Isle of Wight 101 can now be called for all non-emergency contact with Hampshire Constabulary.
This includes the reporting of crime as well as anti-social behaviour, abandoned vehicles, fly tipping, doorstep crime, contacting an officer or a member of staff, as well as general advice and information.
Calls cost a flat rate of 10p from any landline or mobile phone, and are free of charge from public phone boxes. |
