RA/09/23 Apologies for Absence

RA/09/24 Public Question Time

RA/09/25 Minutes of the Meeting held on 5 February 2009
The minutes were agreed as true record of the meeting were signed by Cllr Sign.
RA/09/26 Matters Arising from the Meeting of the 5 February 2009
- RA/09/25 Springvale Road Bus Shelter – the clerk was asked to chase the repair of the shelter. Action – the clerk
- RA/09/16 KWC – Cllr Sign informed members that the redundant shrubs from Church Green were to be transplanted to the KWC.
- RA/09/16 The Green - The Finance Committee are to consider the cost of mulching at their next meeting.
- RA/09/16 Broadview – Cllr Sign reported that the resident whose property backs onto Broadview had agreed to undertake the work on pruning the conifer hedge at his expense.
- RA/09/21 Meeting with the WSSC – the clerk was awaiting confirmation for a meeting on the 18 March 2009.
- RA/09/18 Litter Pick – Cllr Sign and the clerk are to investigate the accumulation of litter at Eversley Park having received information from the WCV’s. Action Cllr Sign/the clerk
RA/09/27 Project Updates
The clerk tabled a project status report [Copy attached].
- Eversley Park – All Weather Court – Cllr Marshall agreed to compile the specification for this project. Action – Cllr Marshall
- Church Green – Cllr Sign was pleased to report that the contractor had commenced work on site and shared with members the results of the site meeting with the landscape architect and contractor. A sample of the estate railing is to be installed for viewing.
- Equipment for the Over 60’s – Cllr Sign reported that approval had been received from WCC to fund this project. There will be an 8 week lead time for the equipment to be delivered.
- Top Field – Cllr White had received a request for allotments on this area. Members agreed to consider this when the land is in the ownership of the PC.
- Open Space Funding – Cllr Sign confirmed for Cllr Welstead that the provision of a Youth Shelter had been included in the bid for 2009-10.
Cllr Sign together with the clerk, are to publicise the projects undertaken in the local press.

RA/09/28 Litter Pick
Cllr White confirmed that the litter pick is scheduled for the 28 March 2009 between 10am -12 noon at the KWC and WSSC. Refreshments will be available thereafter. WCC have agreed to assist with plastic bags, gloves etc.
Cllr White is to produce some posters and Cllr Warrener agreed to assist in placing them on the parish notice boards. Action – Cllrs White and Warrener
The clerk agreed to register the project with the BigTidyUp and arrange for publicity in the local press. Action – the clerk
Cllr Welstead hopes to form a local group for the Hookpit Farm Lane area. Action – Cllr Welstead
RA/09/29 Clerks Notices
- Worthies Conservation Volunteers – Members agreed to the request from the WCV’s to submit a joint bid for an information board on the Didcot Railway. Action – the clerk
- Football Pitches – a request had been received from Andy Court to extend the season to the end of May to allow for the matches to be played which were cancelled due to the recent poor weather. Members agreed to the extension for the junior and middle pitches, but not the bottom pitch as they were keen to see the renovation work commence. Action – the clerk
RA/09/30 Chairman’s Notices
- Open Space Funded Projects – Cllr Sign and the clerk are to compile a listing of the projects undertaken and the costs involved. Action – Cllr Sign/ the clerk

The next meeting was scheduled at 7.30 pm on the 2 April 2009.
