P/08/66 Apologies for Absence

Apologies for absence had been received from Cllrs Gordon and Welstead.

P/08/67 Public Question Time

The public shared with members their comments in support of the application for the erection of a two bedroom dwelling at 2 The Pastures.

P/08/68 Minutes of the Meeting held on the 30 July 2008

The minutes were agreed as a true record of the meeting and were signed by Cllr James.

P/08/69  Matters Arising from the Meeting of the 30 July 2008

  • P/08/59 Planning Applications Received – Members noted that the applications for 46 The Pastures and Woodhams Farm had been refused, and that the application for Willis Waye had been withdrawn.

    There had been no further developments on the application to develop land at 155 Springvale Road.

  • P/08/60 1-5 Campion Way – Cllr Pidduck highlighted some of the points raised in the letter of objection from Robin Buchanan which would apply to other developments

  • P/08/63 Enforcement Case Listing – Members found the response from the WCC Enforcement Team unacceptable with regard to 08/00034/USE and asked the clerk to write to the Head of Planning expressing their concerns. Action – the clerk

  • P/08/63 Waiting Restrictions – Cllr Warrener is to arrange a meeting with Neville Crisp.
    Action – Cllr Warrener


  • P/08/63 Tesco Broken Inspection Cover – the clerk confirmed that this had now been replaced.

  • Planning Hampshire Future – the Summer 2008 Edition had been received.

  • Regional Spatial Strategy for the South East Documentation had been received from the Government Office for the South Easton on the proposed changes.

  • Abbots Worthy Bus Stops – Cllr Cox informed members that another two bus stops had been erected. Cllr Cox and CC Jackie Porter are pursuing the matter with HCC. Action – Cllr Cox

 

P/08/74 Date of next meeting

The next meeting was arranged for 7.30 pm on the 24 September 2008. Cllr Cox gave her apologies.

The meeting closed at 8.45 pm
