P/08/20 Public Question Time
The members of the public shared their concerns with councillors regarding the development at Clelands Churchill Close. These centred on the proposed access with regard to the safety and convenience of users, particularly in the areas of disabled parking; the stability of the site and the development being out of keeping with other properties.
The representative of the nursery at Woodhams Farm outlined the application for retrospective planning consent for the barn.

P/08/22 Matters Arising from the Meeting of the 27 February 2008
- P/08/13 14 Springvale Road – the clerk reported that BT had undertaken the refurbishment of the telephone box. The repositioning of the bus shelter remains on-going.
- P/08/13 Abbots Worthy House – Cllr Cox reported that she was unaware of any further developments and agreed to keep a watching brief on the sale of Hinton House.
- P/08/13 Planning Decisions – the clerk was asked to chase WCC with regard to a response to the comments sent on the application for Verwood Cottage, London Road. Action – the clerk
- P/08/13 Hillrise Lovedon Lane – there were no further developments to report from the Planning Enforcement team.
- P/08/16 Proposed Changes to Planning Applications – Cllr Pidduck is still pursuing clarification on the space for comment under the new system.
- P/08/16 Land at Hookpit Farm Lane – the clerk confirmed that a letter of support had been sent on the amendment to the Section 106 Agreement.

Members have concerns regarding;
- The increase use of the existing access which would cause undue interference with the safety and convenience of the users of the adjoining highway, particularly in the areas of disabled parking bays.
- The stability of the site which is believed to be unsuitable as it is liable to subsidence and flooding.
- The development is out of keeping with other properties and unsuitable for the locality.
Members wished to have the application considered by Committee as residents in the area have grave concerns regarding the proposals.
