P/07/29 Apologies for Absence

P/07/30 Public Question Time
Paul Bulkeley from Snug Projects gave a presentation on the proposed development of 12 dwellings at 1 Campion Way and responded to questions from councillors and members of the public.
Simon Packer from Turley Associates and a colleague representing Gleeson Homes, outlined their proposals for the development of 79 dwellings in Tudor Way. They responded to questions from councillors and members of the public
David Kimber shared with members his plans for the development 6 dwellings at 106 Springvale Road and responded to questions from councillors and members of the public.
P/07/31 Minutes of the Meeting held on the 28 March 2007 and the notes of the meeting held on the 25 April 2007.
The minutes and notes were agreed as a true record of the meeting and were signed by Cllr James.
P/07/32 Election of Chairman and Vice-Chairman
Cllr Warrener proposed Cllr James as chairman and this was seconded by Cllr Sign. All members unanimously agreed.
Cllr Sign proposed Cllr Pidduck as vice-chairman and this was seconded by Cllr James. All members unanimously agreed.
P/07/33 Matters Arising from the Meetings of the 28 March 2007 and 25 April 2007
P/07/23 3-5 Court Road – members agreed that it was no longer appropriate to send a letter to WCC regarding this development. Members agreed to monitor developments.
P/07/23 Elan Signs – the remaining signs had now been removed.
P/07/23 Tree Warden – Cllr Sign reported that Kelvin Mason had been appointed tree warden for the parish.

P/07/36 Clerk’s Notices
The clerk had received the following documents;
- HCC Letter on the Proposed 30mph Speed Limit for London Rd/Bedfield Lane – members agreed that this should be discussed at the Parish Council Meeting.
- Forbes Road Parking – a parishioner had express concerns regarding the parking on the corners of Springvale Road. WCC had agreed to paint lines if required. Cllr Warrener agreed to take the matter to the Transport Liaison Group.
