The planning application was for the erection of a 2 bed dwelling within the curtilage of Carle End, School Lane, Headbourne Worthy.
There were a number of letters of both support and objection including one from Headbourne Worthy Parish Council.
The proposals were refused by Winchester City Council under 8 headings of planning consideration on 23 May 2008.
An appeal against the planning refusal was lodged by the applicant and that appeal was dismissed by The Planning Inspectorate on 30 January 2009.
