The Parish Council boundaries

This page was last updated on Friday, November 7, 2008

The map provided shows the extent of the parish which extends from the River Itchen, in the south east, north to the water tower near South Wonston. Its western boundary lies along the length of the B3240 Andover Road North, from Abbotts Barton to Three Maids Hill, and then a short length north west along the A272 Stockbridge Road, returning towards the water tower.

On its eastern boundary is Kings Worthy, with an area bounded by Springvale Road, Nations Hill and Mount Pleasant included in the parish, before returning to part of the A34 southwards for a short distance. At this point the boundary returns behind the Foundry, London Road and then to the River Itchen which flows adjacent to A33.

The river remains the south east boundary as it flows under the A33, to a point behind the industrial estate on Moorside Road, where  the boundary turns westward across the  water meadows and back to Abbotts Barton.
