The Kings Worthy Day Centre gives total quality day care for physically and mentally frail older persons.
The Day Centre Support Group currently consists of a small group of six dedicated people whose prime intention is to seek ways to raise funds.
The extra funds provide summer outings, Christmas festivities, garden furniture and computer facilities for the exclusive use of the Centre’s clients, which are not funded from the Centre’s budget, provided by Hampshire County Council’s Adult Services.
The group is independent and supported by the Day Centre staff, clients, carers and relatives. Fund raising activities include, coffee mornings, quiz nights, raffles, barbeques and so on.
The group meets at the Day Centre, usually every other month, tea and biscuits are always provided at meetings! The group will always welcome and greatly appreciate new members.
