    Broadview
    Broadview is an open space off Tovey Place and Wesley Road, Kings Worthy. It provides grassland walks and open views across to the site
    of a Roman Villa at Woodhams Farm Previously on the route of the old Watercress Railway Line, this open space  is now owned and maintained by Kings Worthy Parish Council. From the Wesley Road end it is also possible to access the permissive footpath known as Kim Bishop Walk, which takes you to Springvale Road, across the old brick railway arch.


  • Church Green
    Church Green, London Road, Kings Worthy, is a green open space overlooking St Mary’s Church and adjacent to Church Green Close.

 

  • Eversley Park Recreation Ground

    Loader Close off Lovedon Lane.  Kings Worthy, SO237NJ.
    This lovely hilltop site lies between the Primary School and the Sports and Social Club. It is a large recreation area now owned and maintained by Kings Worthy Parish Council, which provides 2 junior football pitches, 2 full size football pitches, A ‘Keep Fit Trim Trail’, a large purpose built  modern Young Children’s Play  Area  and a separate  designated Dog Walk.

    (Charges for football pitch hire are available for Season 2009/10 as a PDF. Pitches are fully booked for scheduled matches, however we are able to consider requests for one-off bookings).

 

  • Firs Crescent
    Is a small green open space area off Hookpit Farm Lane, maintained by Winchester City Council.

 

  • Fryer’s Close
    Is a small green open space area off Lovedon Lane, maintained by Winchester City Council.

 

  • Hinton Park
    Hinton Park
    Hinton Park

    Hinton Park maintained by Kings Worthy Parish Council, is situated between Hinton Fields and Hinton House Drive. This small parkland has open spaces and picnic tables.

 

  • Topfield
    Topfield is an open space off Hookpit Farm Lane, Kings Worthy providing walks and high level views over the village. At the present time it is not owned and maintained by Kings Worthy Parish Council. However it is hoped that part of this area will pass into Parish Council ownership in
    the near future

 

  • Village Green & Play Area Fraser Road, Kings Worthy.
    This area is in front of King’s Worthy Community Centre, whilst the play area is adjacent. This young children’s play area is smaller than the one at Eversley Recreation Ground, but still provides a range of safe modern play equipment for young children. It has been completely refurbished and is proving very popular.
